Winter Storm Stella wasn't skeeping us from the rock! Check out some of the photos from Q103's Rock N Roll Tour Bus to Brooklyn last night to see Green Day.

Last night Q103 and Yankee Trails took a bus load of rockers from the Capital Region on a Rock N Roll Tour Bus to Brooklyn to see Green Day and Against Me! and we were not going to let the aftermath of Winter Storm Stella stop us!

Luckily for us we got to sit back and enjoy the ride to the city watching some classics like Wayne's World and Dumb and Dumber while taking in the sights and by the time we arrived to the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn we were ready to ROCK!

Trust me when I tell you that we were not disappointed. Against Me! started off the festivities and really set the bar for the evening playing a a modest 10 song set for a band with such a huge catalog. Seriously, I'm pretty sure they have put out a new album nearly every year since like '97 but then again they were the opening act so I get it.

After a short intermission it was finally time for Green Day to take the stage! They played a little Bohemian Rhapsody for the crowd before the band actually took the stage which I thought was particularly appropriate considering our movie choice for the ride up. Billie Joe, Tre, and Mike came out of the gate swinging, inviting multiple fans on stage throughout the show to sing along with the band and one lucky fan by the name of Maddie got to jam with the boys and take home the guitar as gift from the band.

The boys powered through a good 28 - 30 song set with hit after hit, a couple of covers, and an interesting medley. At one point I was sure the show was going to go all night and even with work in the morning I wouldn't have minded to be honest. All in all it was pretty much everything I could have wanted from a Green Day show. Despite being slightly sleep deprived today I'm already ready for the next show! You with me?!?!
