Q103 recently had the chance to speak to singer Mark Slaughter of Slaughter.

Slaughter formed out of Las Vegas, Nevada in 1988 with the lineup of singer Mark Slaughter, bassist Dana Strum, guitarist Tim Kelly and drummer Blas Elias. The band had success in 1990 with their debut album Stick It to Ya and the hit singles “Up All Night”, “Spend My Life”, “Mad About You”, and “Fly to the Angels”. The album went double platinum selling over two million copies and becoming one of the biggest albums of 1990. The band also saw success in 1992 with their follow-up album The Wild Life which was certified gold. Slaughter's last studio album was 1999's Back to Reality.
