These guys killed it over the weekend!

This weekend the Q was at the Upstate Concert Hall so the legendary CULT could melt our faces off (and they totally did). When word of the show first hit they were the only band on the bill, while that would have been sufficient, it was lucky for us that changed a bit a few weeks before the show.

About midway through March we found out that the CULT had hand picked a band out of Des Moines, Iowa to open for them on tour. The band, Holy White Hounds. The group is made up of a bunch of buddies who essentially started in their garage and are now really getting a chance to sort of come into the spotlight. If you didn't get a chance to make it out to the show let me tell you, you missed out! These guys bring such a fun presence to the stage and then they start to play and you don't stop moving until the end of the set. If you're feeling bummed out about missing their set don't worry because I hear they're coming back in the very near future you can check out their tour schedule HERE to find out when and where.

Before the show went down the boys very graciously allowed me to interrupt their dinner to chat about the tour, what life's like in Iowa, and about their new album "Sparkle Sparkle" (which comes out May 6th btw). You can listen to the full interview below right now! If I were you I'd definitely give these dudes a listen and probably pre-order their new record! Discover some new tunes and enjoy!
