I wasn’t sure what to think when I heard that Puddle of Mudd was going to one entire set of covers, and another set of their original material. All in all, it was a great show. And if you paid to get in, then you definitely got your money’s worth. Opening up with the Stones ‘Gimme Shelter’ was great, and following it up with Bad Company’s ‘Shooting Star’ was fun too. But honestly, even if POM has a full cd of covers coming out next month, I don’t think it was necessary to play almost all of them at the show. What was cool about the cover set was he had some extra musicians for that part including a keyboardist and a great female vocalist who I think was named Tia. I met her earlier in the day and she was wearing a tank top with no bra so I don’t really know what she was saying. But I do know that she sang great. Anyway, I think if Wes could do it all over again, he’d probably play one longer set and just mix in 3 or 4 of those cover tunes. Regardless of the song and set selection, they were great. And Puddle of Mudd were also excellent and very friendly with all their fans during Q103’s BBQ before the show. Great job guys! One thing you have to say about Wes, that guy seems like he's always smiling and just wants to have a good time. It's a fun vibe that he sends off.

Btw, Rev Theory and Royal Bliss rocked as well.
