Pop-Tart Ice Cream Sandwich is Officially Released Nationally

Back in April of this year, a photo was posted on Instagram showing a new item on the Carl's Jr. menu - a Pop-Tart Ice Cream Sandwich. Yes, a scoop of ice cream in the middle of two Pop-Tarts. Carl's Jr. never really commented on the item outside of saying "We have a policy of not commenting on products while they are in test."

Well, the item is not longer in "test" because as of last week it has been released nationally to all participating locations for a mere $1.49.

Sad part about this, Carl's Jr is a west coast fast food chain. Their east coast counterpart in Hardee's has yet to announce if and when we will see this "dream come true" treat on the menu.

That's alright though, you can make your own. I mean, how hard can it be to put a scoop of ice cream between the two Pop-tarts you get in an individually wrapped package anyways?
