Peter Dinklage: Punk Rocker of the 1990s
Peter Dinklage has made quite the acting career for himself. Some of you may know him from the current TV hit ‘Game of Thrones’ (which I admittedly have never seen an episode of). He’s also been in a number of movies and TV shows, from “Entourage” to “Ice Age: Continental Drift” (IMDB). However, according to a recent article by the Times Union – including photos- he was also a punk rocker back in the 1990s! Dinklage apparently rocked vocals with a musical hybrid punk band called ‘Whizzy’ in New York City over the years in the ’90s, and the Times Union has the photos to prove it! Apparently they were crude, raw, and real.
Not for nothing, I always find myself embracing and liking an actor or actress more when I find out they were involved with music. Blame it on my love for not just rock and roll, but for music as a whole. Though back in the 1990’s, I can image that ‘Whizzy’ had some pretty tough competition on the rock front, with all of the amazing, pure, gritty, grungy, and real rock coming out of that decade.
