Growing up, we all have sat down to watch Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang in their holiday specials and even the cartoon series itself. Though the popularity of the comic strip turned television series has always been large, the characters have never had a full release in movie theaters. That is until next year!

The internet went crazy yesterday (March 18) when a video featuring Charlie, Snoopy, and Woodstock was released. The video, seen below, promises a full blown theatrical feature for the Peanuts gang in 2015 and we couldn't be more excited.

According to the description section for the YouTube video:

For the first time ever, Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang we know and love from Charles Schulz's timeless "Peanuts" comic strip will be making their big-screen debut; like they've never been seen before in a CG-Animated Feature film in 3D.

Sure, we might have to wait a year but it should totally be worth it! So as long as Hollywood doesn't try to tweek it too much like they have with most of our childhood favorites.
