As Paul McCartney revs for the release of his new album, um, 'New,' on Oct. 15, he seems to have been all over the place lately -- at Las Vegas music festivals, on Jimmy Kimmel's roof. On Oct. 3, he's coming to Twitter for a Q&A.

According to a press release announcing the event, "Paul will take to Twitter to answer questions about his forthcoming release and the recording process."

To mark his first album of new material in six years, McCartney worked with a handful of different and, um, new (see a theme here?) producers this time around. So maybe you can ask him about Mark Ronson or Paul Epworth. Or maybe Ethan Johns or Giles Martin. Whatever you want, really.

Fans are encouraged to start sending in their questions now via Twitter by using the hashtag #AskMacca. The Twitter Q&A is scheduled to start at 9:40AM EST on Thursday.
