Australian metal quintet Parkway Drive have become increasingly popular here in the states in the their 9 years of existance. They've made their way into my heart, ever since 2007's Horizons album. Since then, I've also come to love (OK, develop an obsession with) newest album Deep Blue and past album Killing with a Smile. The band are now kicking it up a notch with a month-long fall tour and newly-released video for "Unrest," off of Deep Blue.

The video isn't anything that's uber fancy, but I like it. It's them doing what they love and do best- performing amazing music for the fans all over the world. They're not dressed up, in some far-off fairytale land or even surrounded by fake-ness- they're just in their element living out their dreams at that very moment. I actually prefer music videos like this for these very reasons. The band hasn't been around all that long, but they seem to know what they're doing and have a strong grip on what them, their fans and the music world want, so bravo to them and all of their well-deserved success. I cannot wait to see them live on September 20!
