Palace Theatre in Albany is Now Serving Cocktails

"Do they sell booze here?" Why yes, yes they do

Aside from "Got any free tickets?" and where's the "Free Beer and Hot Wigs" the most asked question I get when I am at a show is "Do they sell booze here?"

Up until recently Albany's Palace Theatre offered a beer and wine only selection. However, when I was attending the Gov't Mule show last week I started noticing that there were people walking around with mixed drinks and so I started asking questions.

You see normally I hightail it into the theater and grab a drink at one of the beer kiosk's. Same stuff, less line right? Wrong! Apparently the Palace Theatre is now offering cocktails in the lobby.

Right now it appears like it is just the basics so don't be expecting anything fancy but beggars can't be choosers right? You can now enjoy Jack Daniels, Bulleit Whiskey, Smirnoff Vodka, Jose Cuervo tequila, Captian Morgan rum, Tanqueray gin, and Johnnie Walker Red Label while you take in a show.
