May 31st is the date that Ozzy Osbourne plans to re-release two of his most classic albums: Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman. Both will have deluxe editions including live and bonus tracks, while a boxed set features an all-new DVD about the Ozzy/Randy Rhoads era.

You can get the remastered re-issues a number of different ways as single CD's and vinyl. Diary Of A Madman will also come in a special two-disc edition, including unreleased live material featuring Rhoads on guitar, Rudy Sarzo on bass and Tommy Aldridge on drums.

Or you can get the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Box Set, including vinyl and CD copies, a bonus live disc, a coffee table book, a replica of Ozzy’s gold cross, a wall-size poster, and the Thirty Years After the Blizzard DVD.

Probably the most interesting item in the box set will be the DVD. The DVD  begins with the start of Ozzy’s solo career and his work with Randy Rhoads.  It also includes 70 minutes of additional footage, including 30 minutes of a bootleg of Ozzy (and Rhoads) performing.

For Ozzy/Rhoads fans the DVD is a must have with unseen footage of  interviews with Ozzy, Sharon Osbourne, Lemmy Kilmister, Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx, Rob Halford, Zakk Wylde, Bill Ward and others.
