Earlier this spring, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne underwent a rough patch in their marriage due to Ozzy's alleged infidelity with a hairdresser. In the months since, Ozzy and Sharon have been working to get back to a good place in their marriage and the singer recently told Good Morning America that they were "back on track." But a new interview has put the woman at the center of the marital woes back in the spotlight and also led to a statement from an Osbourne representative confirming Ozzy's infidelity.

Speaking with People magazine, hairdresser Michelle Pugh says that her relationship with Osbourne was one based on love. She explains, "When I say he gave me the greatest love of my life, I mean it. He made me feel like the most beautiful and worshipped woman in the world." Pugh states in the interview that Osbourne was "unhappy" in his marriage and that he "consistently and willingly and generously" gave her his love.

"He is sorry if Ms. Pugh took their sexual relationship out of context," the singer's rep tells People exclusively in a statement. "He would like to apologize to the other women he has been having sexual relationships with. Since his relationship with Ms. Pugh was exposed, Ozzy has gone into intense therapy."

Pugh reveals that she is no longer in touch with Ozzy and feels the absence in her life, but adds, "He is a grown man. He is capable of making the decision to be with me. If he has chosen to not be, that is fine. I accept it and move on. But he has been my best friend for the last few years, so of course I am grieving the loss for that."

She concluded, "I still love him. And I would never exploit the truly personal and private parts of what we had. That's not me. I'm going to stand tall and proud and say, 'This is me. I'm not ashamed.' I fell in love with a man that gave me the love I never knew I could receive."

Update: Sharon Osbourne addressed the issue on today's episode of The Talk, stating, "He's [been] going to outpatient for sex addiction for the last 3 months and after the Black Sabbath tour, he goes into inpatient for 3 months."

"It's hard because it affects the whole family and it's quite embarrassing to talk about," she added. "Drugs and drinking is more acceptable, but when it's somebody who has a sex addiction, it's more embarrassing. I am proud [Ozzy] has come out and admitted it finally. It's very very hard. Every person who comes in the room thinks, 'Oh, don't come in, he's here.' He should call Tiger Woods for some advice."
