Late Sunday night it was reported that the long term leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-il, had died of an apparent heart attack.  His son will take over as the countries leader.

While the nation of North Korea mourns the death of their leader, the rest of the world can rejoice as one more cruel dictator is gone.  Kim Jong-il has died, he is thought to be 69 years old.  His son Kim Jong-un was immediately named the heir apparent.

Many speculate with the death of Kim Jong-il, North Korea may end up falling.  He was in power since 1994 and was beloved by his brain washed people.  He had suffered a stroke in 2008 but looked as though he had recovered.  Jong-il was on a field guidance trip ("helping" farmers) when he suffered the heart attack.  His funeral will be held on December 28th.
