Sometimes no means no, and I think is one of those instances. I like the metaphor Obama used in expressing that there’s no need to release photographs and gloat by saying “We don’t need to spike the football.” Like a lot of people, my initial thoughts were that I wanted to see proof. But now, I’m ok if I don’t see a picture of a quarter of Osama’s face blown off. I really don’t need to see it. In the big picture it could bring more trouble. There are already enough crazies out there who hate us. What good could it bring by showing it off? I believe the President and all the other officials when they say he’s gone for good. I wonder if it will really stay under wraps though. I know that’s government property, but in a media crazed world with literally no secrets, how long will this one be kept?
