Fox 23 News reports that True Leaf Farms of Salinas has recalled 33,000 pounds of lettuce after finding that a sample from one bag tested positive for listeria. Listeria, that’s the stuff that recently caused 72 illnesses and 16 deaths through cantaloupe

It is said that the lettuce was only shipped to retail stores in Washington and Idaho. But as far as the other 17 states it went to restaurants and cafeterias. As mentioned there has been a recall. But just to be safe, you might want to skip the salad if you’re going out to eat for the next week or so.
