New York, as a state, has many stereotypes attached to it from the residents being snobs to everyone having Italian-Brooklyn Accent. A recent poll conducted by Business Insider shows just how the rest of the country really views us.

The survey asked over 1,600 Americans their thoughts on many topics involving their views of states. They were not allowed to use the state they live in or are from as an answer. Some of the questions included the respondents labeling states as "Most Arrogant", "Most Overrated", and more.

With that being New York got some love - and some hate.

Case and point, New York was voted as having the best sports fans in the nation.

But somehow we also have the "Worst Fans" in sports (Strange, I know).

And now the bad parts of how we are viewed by the rest of the country including how "rude" we are.

So go figure, if we are the rudest that has to mean we are the most "Arrogant"

And to finish out on the hate; New York is the 2nd most overrated state according to the poll. Agree or Disagree?
