New Linkin Park Coming In Second Half Of 2016

This news looks promising!

I've been saying it since the 2015 and I'll probably be saying it through the rest of this year but 2016 looks to be a GREAT year for NEW music!

Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda recently spoke to Rolling Stone and gave us a bit of insight on what is to come and when.Saying that he expects the album to come out at some point in the second half of this year and:

I've been on a tear in the studio right now with the band we've been making so much new material. … A lot of this stuff is, we're just kind of experimenting a lot with all the different directions the band can go.

It looks like for now he's not elaborating on which sounds are forming on the new album but did add

We're just … really heavily focusing on the melodies. Some of the music is coming together here and there but it's really, right now, more about the words and melodies. So I don't actually know what the sound of the record is going to be like yet.
