NBC's dreamily desolate 'Hannibal' served up fresh appetizers for its second season over the weekend with our first photos from the February 28 premiere, as well as a brief teaser snippet, but at long last, the main course has arrived. Preview 'Hannibal' season 2's shocking and bloody upsets with our first full trailer for Bryan Fuller's next chapter in the franchise!

You're warned of spoilers from the first season, as well as the February 28 premiere "Kaiseki" from here on out, but it certainly looks as if Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) will suffer a reckoning from the falsely-imprisoned Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) early on, as NBC's new trailer shows the good doctor getting into a heated and bloody battle with Laurence Fishburne's Jack Crawford, menacingly approaching Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas) as well.

"I don't know which is worse, believing that I did it, or believing that you did this to me," Will warns his former mentor, accompanied by a haunting background rendition of "Stand By Me." "I'm going to remember, and when I do, there will be a reckoning."

Elsewhere, series creator Bryan Fuller has confirmed Raul Esparza’s return to ‘Hannibal’ season 2 as Dr. Frederick Chilton, while ‘X-Files‘ vet Gillian Anderson will reprise her role as Hannibal’s own therapist Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier, as will Eddie Izzard as Dr. Abel Gideon. Along with confirmed season 2 roles for ‘Sex and the City’ vet Cynthia Nixon and ‘Homeland‘ player Martin Donovan. Fuller recently revealed that two major literary characters of Thomas Harris’ novels would be popping up in the second season, potentially providing further menace down the line, while 'LOST' star Jeremy Davies and Jonathan Tucker will also have roles.
