National Night Out – Albany Locations

Tomorrow night August 2nd in the 28th annual National Night Out. National Night Out promotes crime/drug prevention It also strengthens neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships.   Over 37 million people participated in National Night Out 2010, a hope that more will participate this year more.  See what communities are sponsoring block parties in the Albany area. National Night Out is designed to send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and will fight back.

Such events that your community can do are block parties, cookouts, parades, flashlight walks, contests and youth programs.
