It is with a heavy heart that the Q reports another blow to the rock community. Earlier this evening (December 28, 2015)  it was reported that Ian Fraser “Lemmy” Kilmister, frontman for Motorhead, passed away today after a brief fight with cancer.

According to Consequence of Sound, Lemmy has suffered a few illness, including repairing an irregular heartbeat with an implantable defibrillator, hematoma, and multiple health issues that caused him to cancel several performances over the last couple of years.

Let's all turn his music up loud and take a shot for Lemmy tonight.
