As we approach the Grammy Awards tonight, ol' Monte thought about some of his favorite performances of all-time!  Think of all of the acts that have graced the stage and played their biggest hits.  Even bands and performers that sing a different genre that you aren't used to, could blow you away!  Here is a list of my five favorite performances of all time.

Guns N' Roses - 1989 Awards- Patience.  One can NEVER go wrong with GNR.

I'm pretty sure you're going to mock me for this, but I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't a Michael fan.  I don't condone any of his personal life.  However, on the stage, the man once owned the world.  From the 1988 Grammys, The Way You Make Me Feel and Man in the Mirror.

Going out of the box here, mostly because I find Christina Aguilera to be one of the hottest women ever.  2007 performance, James Brown's A Man's World.  Damn she is hot.

OK, let's get back to the actual tunes before I have pool drool from looking at Christina.  Metallica!  1992 with Enter Sandman!

Finally, the last of my favorite Grammy performances of all-time, 2003's Clash tribute with The Boss, Dave Grohl, Steve Van Zandt and Elvis Costello.

What do you think, did I miss any of your favorites?   Who are you looking forward to seeing on tonight's awards?
