Sad news for the Albany area as one of the fixtures of Albany's warehouse district will be closing it's doors for good next Friday.

According to the Albany Times Union, the Miss Albany Diner will be serving lunch on February 10th, and then closing their doors.  The Albany landmark, which has been open since 1941 was sold to the owners of Wolff's Biergarten and they will be closing it.

However the diners current owners will be keeping the name, and could possibly find a new location for it.  The new owners have no plans for the diner as of yet as they are still getting their footing on their latest project, The Old English Pub which is located on Broadway near the Palace theater.
