Middle Class Rut Reveal Official Video For “Dead Eye” [VIDEO]

Sunny California duo Middle Class Rut debuted their second full-length album 'Pick Up Your Head' on June 25, which has so far produced the single "Aunt Betty," which reached the No. 33 and 34 spots on the Billboard 200. Today, the band have unmasked the official music video for the seventh track off the new album, "Dead Eye." Check it out below.

The album was released via Bright Antenna Records and mixed by Dave Sardy. Lance Drake served as director for the video, which was shot in Alaska.

Drummer Sean Stockholm commented:

When it comes to videos, we don’t really look at treatments. Our very good friend and director extraordinaire, Lance Drake, just says one word, and it’s all we need to hear. This time, that word was ‘Alaska.’ He added, The biggest challenge with this video was trying to fit everything into 4 1/2 minutes. We just couldn’t get away from the amazing beauty and the 360 degrees of humbling awesomeness all around us. It went on forever and I felt lucky to have taken it all on.
