Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett is looking to scare up some extra business for his new book, 'Too Much Horror Business,' and will hit the road for a series of book signings next month.

The guitar great has amassed a "monster" collection of horror memorabilia over the years and had a chance to share some of his favorite items in 'Kirk's Crypt' during Metallica's Orion Music + More Festival earlier this year.

Hammett's next way of sharing is through this new, stunning, 228-page hardback coffee table book, which is due Oct. 1. It contains over 300 full color images from Hammett's private collection and exclusive set photography by Mark Leialoha and Joe Gibbs.

“This is my gift to all the other horror nerds out there who are just like me,” says Hammett, “It’s been made with great love for all the many characters and movies which guided me through childhood, into adulthood and which still keep me on track today.”

Also included in the book are conversations with writer Steffan Chirazi covering the importance of collecting in the guitarist's life.

Hammett's book tour begins Oct. 11 at New York City's Barnes & Noble Tribeca Store. See the full itinerary for the run below.
