It's hard to not think of rock n roll and not think of Marshall amps.  The two go hand in hand.  Rock music has lost a legend, as Jim Marshall, the man who created the legendary amplifiers has passed away.  It's hard to think of a guitar player on this earth who hasn't plugged into a Marshall stack. He was 88 years old.

Marshall was known as the 'Father Of Loud' and even taught musicians such as The Who's Pete Townsend and Deep Purples Ritchie Blackmore.  He is considered an innovator in the rock world for the signature sound that his amplifiers brought to the table.
