Wedding proposals sometimes take weeks or months to plan out.  So when they don't quite go according to plan, that's kind of a bummer.  And describing this couple's engagement as simply "a bummer" is a bit of an understatement.George Begalla of Ohio planned to propose to his girlfriend Katie Woodford while on vacation in Arizona last week.  They went on a hike and scaled Camelback Mountain, which is about 3,000 feet tall.  Once they reached the top, George popped the question and Katie said yes!  End of story, right?  Nope.

Just after saying yes, Katie began to hyperventilate and her muscles cramped up, causing George to call 911.  It turns out that Katie was just extremely dehydrated from the hike, due to it being over 90 degrees.  She had to be airlifted off of the mountain by a helicopter and taken to the hospital.  During the whole ordeal, George's heart rate spiked pretty high and he was unable to make the hike back down the mountain, so the helicopter had to come back and pick him up as well!

George and Katie made the best of their time in the hospital together, though, and started planning their wedding.

They're both expected to be just fine.
