Longtime Car Dealership In Albany Bought Out

One of the oldest dealerships in the Capital Region as a whole has been bought out by a size-able car dealership chain.

If you are a Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, or Ram owner you may have bought your vehicle at this dealership. Armory on Colvin and Central Ave in Albany has been purchased by Lithia Motors. That is the same corporation that also owns the Carbone dealerships in the area as well. Based in Oregon they now own 168 separate dealerships across america.

Some years ago they where noted as being one of the most innovative dealerships in the country now sell their 99 year old business. However you won't notice too much change actually. Lithia is keeping everything the same. The Armory name will stay intact along with the jobs and management too.

I mean I have no bias in anyway towards Armory but I also hate seeing a business that has been around for so long be bought out. At least it will stay the same.
