It's always cool when you can put your talent to good use and some local rockers have done just that once again. With their benefit concert on May1st they helped to raise $10,000 to help the Wildwood School for kids with severe learning disabilities.  This is the fourth year in a row that they have done the show and once again end with great success.

Dave Graham, from local rock group The Blisterz, helps to organize this every single year so a big tip of the hat goes to him.  Other performers involved this year include local favorite Erin Harkes, Sirsy, Rob Skane, The Velmas, Blackcat Elliot and more and took place at the Parting Glass Pub in Saratoga.  I have the pleasure of seeing Dave quite often and I know exactly how passionate he is about this event.  The Wildwood School has been around since the late 1960's and helps children battle through learning disabilities such as autism.  They help somewhere around 1,000 kids each year so the money raised is a huge help.

If you are looking for a school like this just click here for a list of programs they offer. Don't worry, if you missed out on donating this year Wildwood-stock 2012 will be on the way for next year!
