 About the band: LOUD…FAST…INFECTIOUS!!! Albany, NY’s pop-punk band, ThE BLiSTeRz. formed in 2007 and quickly released their ten song debut cd “Who’s Laughing Now?” featuring the hit single “Myspace Friend”. The guitar driven trio has been unleashing their melodic three chord anthems on stages everywhere, rapidly gaining a legion of fans. With comparisons to NOFX and The Decendents, the band thrives on their chaotic live show and will have you on your feet with both fists in the air shouting along to every chorus. They are comprised of Davey BLiSTeR, the loud mouthed lead vocalist/guitarist who incites mayhem and loves power chords in the key of G, Drew ‘Blood’ BLiSTeR the stylish yet reserved bass banger who blinks during photos and performs circus stunts on the four string, and Vinny BLiSTeR, the thrashing beast who breaks kick drums, sticks and ladies hearts with reckless abandon. The boys have been busy wrapping up their new album tentatively titled “Rebels Without Applause” slated for a Spring release.
