The 3rd Annual Ride for Ronnie Motorcycle Rally and Concert is fast approaching, and organizers have revealed more details about the forthcoming event, including some of the celebrity riders and additional talent that will be on hand at the concert portion of the event.

The 3rd Annual Ride for Ronnie starts on May 7 at the Harley-Davidson in Glendale, Calif. with kickstands up at 11AM. Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund co-founder and president Wendy Dio will lead the cavalcade of motorcycle riders, which includes such rockers and celebs as Lita Ford, Gilby Clarke, Lynch Mob's Sean McNabb, Faster Pussycat's Taime Downe, Buckcherry's Xavier Muriel, Sons of Anarchy actors Emilio Rivera, Rusty Coones and Star Fields and The Dead Zone actor Chris Bruno.

The ride will leave Glendale heading toward the Los Encinos Park in Encino, Calif. where the concert will be held. The lineup for the day includes performances by Lynch Mob, Eddie Money, Rough Cutt, Dio Disciples, the Loveless, Sonia Harley and No Small Children. In addition, Lita Ford, Quiet Riot's Alex Grossi, Foreigner and former Dio and Dokken guitarist Jeff Pilson, Cold Sweat's Marc Ferrari and Lita Ford bassist Marty O'Brien will be in attendance. Meanwhile, Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler is currently organizing players for an all-star jam.

Eddie Trunk will return to host the festivities for the day, which will also include a raffle, silent and live auctions, a variety of food trucks and merchandise vendors and plenty more. The silent auction will be held in one of the exhibit booths throughout the afternoon, while live auctions, featuring one-of-a-kind rock collectables, will take place during intervals between artist performances. Live Auction, raffle and silent auction items include a stage-worn full-length leather Eddie Money trenchcoat from his 2000 "Millennium Tour," a Great White acoustic guitar signed by the band members, Dio photo book signed by all of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath collectibles and merchandise bundle, a variety of concert tickets, wine-tasting certificates and much, much more.

Last year's Ride for Ronnie raised over $50,000 for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout cancer charity. A donation of $25,000 will be presented to Dr. David Wong of the UCLA School of Dentistry to help fund his team's research into a simple, non-invasive saliva test that will help in the early detection of cancer.

There will be a display illustrating breakthroughs in the gastric cancer research that is being done at UCLA by Dr. Wong's team, and he will be present to help explain these inroads to interested fans. Additionally, the Dio Cancer Fund will be distributing complimentary bottles of sunscreen along with skin cancer prevention information.
