This is the news Linkin Park fans have been waiting for. The title, cover art and release date have been revealed for the band's upcoming sixth studio album!

Linkin Park's 2014 album will be titled 'The Hunting Party' and will see a June 17 release date. The album art (revealed via Noisey) for 'The Hunting Party' is pretty awesome, depicting some sort of mysterious archer descending from the sky.

The title 'The Hunting Party' title also ties in with Linkin Park's upcoming 'Carnivores' tour with 30 Seconds to Mars + AFI, which kicks off this summer.

"Naming s--t is difficult for us, especially album titles," Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda tells Noisey. "This one was easier than many of them; we second-guessed and argued over it. We never come up with an album title before the album. We have concepts behind the record, but a lot of times they have multiple meanings."

Shinoda continues, "The record comes out this summer, and we need everybody to know what they’re working with. Which is to say that some of it’s going to be a bit of a challenge. This is going to be a hard sell for rock radio, I knew that going in."

Always striving to remain at the peak of technology, Linkin Park recently revealed the new song 'Guilty All the Same,' along with an interactive video for the track. Thanks to Project Spark, not only is the video interactive, but it's remixable as well. “Instead of a traditional music video for ‘Guilty All the Same’ (feat. Rakim), we are giving you this as a starting line for you guys to create and share," says multi-role member Joe Hahn. "This is the first interactive, remixable game. We look forward to seeing what you make with it.”
