Lex Luthor Returns For Smallville Finale

Actor Michael Rosenbaum is returning to the show to reprise his role as Lex Luthor one last time.

I know that Smallville takes a lot of heat for dumbing down Superman for TV, but I really like the show and have since it started when I was in high school.  Maybe Tom Welling isn't the greatest man of steel but the show is entertaining enough for a comic book dork like myself.

This is the tenth and final season of Smallville this year and they are finally letting Clark Kent become Superman.  I only hope they don't ruin it.  Michael Rosenbaum is set to return to the show one last time as the villainous Lex Luthor.  I think Rosenbaum plays an awesome Luthor and have been waiting for him to return to the show for some time now.  Finally on May 13, the series finale, we will get just that.  So for all of you Smallville lovers out there get braced for spectacular finish.  At least I hope it's a spectacular finish.  If not we can at least look forward to the new Superman movie that is due out in 2012.
