Life size LEGOs that won't leave you completely incapacitated when you step on them!

The rumors about LEGOLAND eyeing an upstate New York location have been swirling for quite some time now. However, it is beginning to look like a more solid plan is forming and the new mega theme park could be opening up as early as 2019!

I don't think there is anyone who hasn't experienced the joy of LEGOs at one point in their life or another, but now imagine you get to go to a theme park that is (essentially) built entirely out of LEGOs with full-on LEGO rides, shows, attractions, and even a LEGO-themed hotel that you can sleep in, all in just a short drive from your front door!

Well the people behind LEGOLAND have been looking very extensively in upstate New York. More specifically, off Route 17 in the town of Goshen in Orange County, NY. They are looking to convert 523 acres into 50 rides with shows and attractions plus a 250 room hotel for LEGO lovers!

If all goes well and LEGOLAND gets approved, they will first have to expand 17 into three lanes but once approved, along with bringing endless entertainment to your entire family, they will also create about 500 new full-time jobs, plus bring about 10-20,000 visitors to the area on the daily.

On a side note, I know sometimes a day at the theme park with your family and everyone else's family can get a little overwhelming. I'm not sure what the policy will be when LEGOLAND arrives in upstate NY, but I do know that the LEGOLAND in SoCal does offer frosty cold adult refreshments for just such an occasion.

Are you pumped for another theme park to enjoy in a day trip if you want?!?

To get an idea of what we have to look forward to, here are some awesome cell pics of my parents taking my super adorbs cousin to LEGOLAND Cali last summer!
