In honor of the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea on this weeks Free Advice Friday some advice on how you can learn to become an Olympic (or just an average) curler this weekend!

Every time the winter Olympics rolls around one of my favorite sports to watch is always the curling competitions. The sport itself is intriguing to me. It kind of reminds me of a crazy mix of darts, bocce, and shuffleboard on ice.

Last winter Vinnie and I actually attended the Albany Curling Club's open house in an attempt to try to become Olympians. As it turns out it is not as easy as it looks as evident by the video footage of me completely eating it on the ice. In retrospect jeans probably weren't the best attire to do ice sports in.

This weekend the Albany Curling Club is actually hosting it's Annual Open House again so if you would like to see if you have got what it takes to be an Olympian leave a couple of hours open this weekend and stop by and check it out and let us know if we should be looking for you on TV in 2022 in Beijing!

If you can't make to Albany this weekend you can always try the Schenectady Curling Clubs Open House next weekend!
