Kirstie And Partner Maksim Fall On DWTS

This video clip is from last night’s Dancing with the Stars. Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kirstie Alley take a fall at the beginning of the rumba.

Many websites are saying Alley (who falls gracefully) caused the fall, but you can clearly see Chmerkovskiy caused it. Either way, they got right back up and continued the dance, which was rather really good.

Chmerkovskiy, who looks to have been slightly injured, claimed that his thigh just gave out. It happens, and they handled it very well, as professionals should.

Even after they recovered their feet, Chmerkovskiy held off a couple of beats as he grimaced in obvious discomfort. But then he regained himself and his partner, and they continued the dance.-

The crowd and even the judges were very supportive. Their comments were as follows:

Despite the fact you had a little mess up at the beginning, something magical happened after that, Carrie Ann Inaba said of their performance.

Len Goodman echoed her sentiments, saying the pair came back stronger after the fall.

Here is a longer video that shows the judges critiquing them.

What do you think of the video? Do you agree with the judges?
