English rockers King Crimson will play two nights at The Egg in Albany Nov. 8 & 9. Tickets on sale this Friday, July 21 at 11am.

King Crimson formed out of London in 1968 and were a seminal progressive rock band that went through numerous lineups throughout their career. The lineup in 2017 consists of Robert Fripp, Jakko Jakszyk, Tony Levin, Mel Collins, Pat Mastelotto, Gavin Harrison, Bill Rieflin, and Jeremy Stacey. Fripp is considered the driving force and leader of the band. He's also the only consistent member of the group. The band's debut album, In the Court of the Crimson King is considered to be one of the first and most influential progressive rock releases, combining elements of jazz, classical, and symphonic music.
