It was a big hit last year, so Kid Rock is bringing back the ‘$20 Best Night Ever’ tour for a second year. The cost-friendly tour will kick off June 24 in Hartford, Conn., and will run into early September before wrapping.

Rock is teaming with Live Nation attempting to give fans the best and most cost effective tour possible. The idea is that tickets from the second row to the lawn will all be $20, with reduced parking and service fees keeping the total ticket price at around $30 or under. There will also be “$20 all-in” tickets that include parking that are being offered by participating Walmart outlets and at the venue box offices. And everyone who purchase their ticket at Walmart will also receive a coupon for $2 off their purchase of Kid Rock’s latest album First Kiss.

In addition, Rock is attempting to lessen the scalping that is going on with tickets. He’s teaming with Live Nation to make 1,000 tickets from each show to be put on sale via Live Nation’s Platinum ticketing program to ward off scalpers. The first row of seats for every show will be held back and given as free upgrades for lucky fans, and $20 special food packages will be available during the shows. And of course, since they were so popular last time around, there will be $4 draught beers and special $20 tour t-shirts available throughout the amphitheaters.

Kid Rock and the Twisted Brown Trucker Band will be joined on tour this summer by rock legends Foreigner. It should also be noted that Rock is taking care of his beloved home base of Detroit with six nights of shows at the DTE Energy Music Theater in nearby Clarkston Aug. 7-15. Tickets go on sale for the tour on Feb. 24 via Live Nation, while fan club members have access to a pre-sale on Feb. 19 and those who pre-order First Kiss via Rock’s website also get a jump on Feb. 20.

Rock is currently supporting the First Kiss album, which was voted by Loudwire readers as the February 2015 Release of the Month. The disc has already spawned the title track as the lead single. The album is available to order in a variety of bundle packages here.

In other Kid Rock news, look for a media blitz around his Feb. 24 album release. Rock will perform at the Daytona 500 pre-race festivities on Feb. 22, followed by a Feb. 23 ‘Tonight Show’ performance, an appearance on NBC’s ‘Today Show’ Feb. 24 and he’ll be dropping by to chat with Howard Stern on Feb. 25. Plus, even though he recent stated that he doesn’t “FaceTweet,” he will experiment with social media on Feb. 19 when he takes over iTunes Twitter handle at 5PM ET to answer fan questions.
