Judas Priest On American Idol [VIDEO]

American Idol contestant James Durbin has brought heavy metal to American Idol this season and it wasn't more apparent than last night when he was joined on the stage by Judas Priest.This season on American Idol they had a pretty unique performer in James Durbin who instead of singing pop tunes, he decided to follow his heart and break out the metal.  Very cool and a nice change of pace for the show.  I guess he caught the attention of Judas Priest because they joined him onstage at last nights finale.  They performed "Living After Midnight" and "Breaking the Law".

They sounded pretty damn good to me.  I really think Durbin has a fantastic voice for the genre.  This is also the first performance for the band without long time member KK Downing. Oh and Scotty McCreery ended up this seasons winner, whoopty do.
