It looks like Jackass star Johnny Knoxville is set to star in a movie based on Vernon, NJ water park Action Park.

According to NJ.COM, Johnny Knoxville will be producing the film based on the park that gained notoriety in the 80's and 90's for causing more serious injuries to patrons than any other park in America. Some called the park "Accident Park" and "Class Action Park", among other names. The film will be produced through Knoxville's company Dickhouse Productions, for Paramount Pictures.

The amusement park has been linked to six deaths between 1978-1984. The park closed in 1996 and reopened in 1998 under the name Mountain Creek Waterpark. Johnny Knoxville told Deadline in 2015 that "the goal is a big, fun 80's-type movie" based on the New Jersey park. Filming is set to begin in South Africa this MArch. As of now, there is no word of any New Jersey filming locations.
