Jimmer Fredette and #9 BYU get set to take one of the last unbeaten schools in the country tonight, #4 San Diego State.

Now the BYU Cougars are no throw away team, they have lost 1 game so far this season and that was to UCLA back in December.   Jimmer and the Cougars have been on a bit of a hot streak since then.  A few days ago they beat up Utah 104-79 and their most recent win came against Colorado State 94-85.  Most of the time they are winning by double digits.

Glens Falls native Jimmer Fredette is a big part of BYU's success.  He's averaging over 25 points a game.  Now San Diego State on the other hand seems to just be getting past teams.  They are ranked 83rd in the country in scoring and 138th in rebounds.  BYU is ranked 5th in scoring, 17th in rebounds and 44th in assists.  I like BYU's chances of winning this one and knocking off San Diego State.  In winning tonight BYU would then be tied with San Diego State for first place in the Mountain West Conference.  Best of luck to Jimmer and the boys tonight!
