Jimi Hendrix Film May Not Contain Original Songs [VIDEO]

As you and I have been anticipating a new film in the works, All Is By My Side, a film based on rock legend Jimi Hendrix, my heart sank this morning when I read the news that the movie might NOT contain any original recordings from the guitar God himself.

'All Is By My Side', a film about Hendrix working on his debut album, is set to star Andre 3000.  Andre 3000 is one half of the hip hop group, OutKast.  The rapper might need to brush up on his guitar playing skills, as according to reports, the film might not contain any of Hendrix' original recordings.

Experience Hendrix, L.L.C., the company that controls Hendrix' catalog and does not allow original recordings to be used without their full participation.

I don't know about you, but I'm not sure how awesome it would be to watch a cover band  try to do Foxy Lady on the big screen!
