Jack White's debut solo album, 'Blunderbuss,' dropped less than a year ago, but the prolific rocker -- who is also known for his work with the Raconteurs, Dead Weather and, of course, the now-defunct White Stripes -- is already hard at work on the follow-up. “I’m writing a lot of songs for another record, I have over 20 tracks I’m working on right now," White tells BBC 6 Music News. "So it's been very busy, yeah ...  Third Man and that together [are] keeping me very busy."

Third Man is, of course, Third Man Records, the boutique indie label he runs out of his adopted hometown of Nashville. Recent projects that Third Man has announced include a recording session with Radiohead, a new single from Gibby Haynes and just-revealed plans to reissue 25,000 vintage pre-war and country blues tracks that were originally released on the Scottish independent label Document Records. Yes, you read that number correctly.

There's no word yet on when White's second solo disc may appear, but with thousands of other records on his Third Man plate, we wouldn't hold out hope for a 2013 arrival -- even from someone as prolific as White.
