Go home Ma Nature ... you're drunk.

Looks like Mother Nature is serving us up with a little pay pack for taking it easy on us this winter. We are well into June now and all though technically and "officially"  summer doesn't begin until the 21st we have certainly had some scorcher days here recently (ahemm memorial weekend).

Well the TU says that the heat is taking a back seat for a bit, which is pretty evident by the feel of fall outside at the moment. So much so that tonight freezing temperatures and showers are expected in the Adirondacks this evening and tomorrow morning that according to the National weather Service

could leave a dusting atop Mount Marcy, Whiteface Mountain and other peaks with summits above 4,500 feet

Even the temperature around Lake Placid is expected to fall at least into the low 40s overnight, but higher spots in the mountains will fall to the freezing level.

Dang! That's cold! If you are planning on doing some camping in the Adirondacks or near Lake Placid this weekend I suggest packing some cold weather gear ... and maybe a few extra blankets!
