Old school rockers Iron Maiden are set to release yet another album. This time around it will be a compilation of best's and favorites from the past 20 years (1990-2010).

Iron Maiden turns 36 this year! It's hard to believe they've been around since way before I was born. My mother was just graduating high school when they formed. That's insane. In 36 years they've released 36 albums! That's awesome and really funny it worked out that way. This new record will be number 37 for the sextuplet.

Maiden's newest edition, From Fear to Eternity, will be released on May 23, and will be a follow-up to 2009's "best of" album, Somewhere Back in Time, which covered the years 1980-1989. The new album will include a two-disc set that features songs from the band's last eight studio albums, with the majority coming from Brave New World, which came out in 2000.

Here are the track listings for the two discs:

Disc One
'The Wicker Man'
'Holy Smoke '
'El Dorado'
'Paschendale '
'Different World'
'Man On The Edge' (live)
'The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg '
'Blood Brothers '
'Rainmaker '
'Sign Of The Cross' (live)
'Brave New World'
'Fear Of The Dark' (live)

Disc Two
'Be Quick Or Be Dead'
'Tailgunner '
'No More Lies '
'Coming Home'
'The Clansman' (live)
'For The Greater Good Of God '
'These Colours Don't Run '
'Bring Your Daughter... To The Slaughter'
'Afraid To Shoot Strangers '
'Dance Of Death '
'When The Wild Wind Blows'

What do you think about this news? Do you think "best of" albums are necessary or a waste?
