This Saturday will mark the start of the Inaugural Madison Film Fest which will run through Thursday showing about 18 films all produced in the northeast with a large majority of them local to the Capital Region.

With the exception of one full length feature film the rest are a collection of short films. Which is super cool because you get to see a couple films with your admission. The feature full length film called "The David Dance" will open the festival and admission for that screening will be FREE! Tickets for the rest of the festival will only run ya $10 and you get to see a showcase of 3 to 5 shorts. I hear that there is a possibility that Dan America may make a cameo in one of the shorts so I definitely have to try to catch that one so we can bust on him a bit. Anyway, all films run from 7PM-9PM so not to early and not to late.

You can get more info and your tickets by visiting the Madison Theater's website, calling 438-2094 , or visit the box office at 1036 Madison Ave., Albany.

Get out this week and support some local artists! The full film schedule can be found by clicking HERE so go check it out so you can plan accordingly!
