Here is the music video for "Deliver Us," the first single from Swedish metal quintet In Flames' new album Sounds of a Playground Fading, which comes out on Tuesday, June 21. Watch the video here!

According to Noisecreep, 'Sounds' will be their first record since guitarist Jesper Strömblad's departure from the group in 2010. A founding member of In Flames, Strömblad left the band to continue receiving treatment for alcohol abuse.

"Deliver Us" was filmed in April at Göteborgsvarvet (The Wheel of Gothenburg) in Gothenburg, Sweden, and was directed by Patric Ullaeus.

The video is really awesome and unique. It goes along well with the album title, as the band members are each in a car on a moving Ferris wheel, rocking out with their instruments. It takes place at night, and no one else is in the park. Fireworks are going off, which just adds to the intensity of the video and the sound. The song is so good and very In Flames-esque, with a different spin than past albums. It will be like the old In Flames, just improved and even more amazing, if that's even possible.

In Flames will be hitting the area and performing at Northern Lights on July 25! I've been a fan for years, and they've never been in the area since then. I saw them once but had to travel to Massachusetts. It was well worth the wait, but I am so stoked for them to come to the area! Joining them will be Trivium, Kingdom of Sorrow and Straight Line Stitch.

Are you a fan of In Flames? What do you think of the video?
