Beer a wonderful thing. However a lot of these things can make the experience worse.

First off, many people know a few of these but hey its a weekend and craft beers are a flowing so whether you know these or not perhaps you can have a more enjoyable beer now.

First up, beer that is chilled in excess. Now yes, I love beer this way but it makes sense. First off your body has to adjust to cold temps. On top of that your taste buds can become muted to flavor due to the cold.

Second, constant change in temperature. If your buying a beer warm it can degrade quicker. I personally always buy cold beer anyway. However even cold beer may have this issue as many beers are shipped warm.

Third, your chalice. Your cup really can dictate how well a beer will be. Some bottles have those indents on the bottom allowing more carbonation to stay present but either was beer is best served in a glass. For instance, look at a Sam Adams Boston Lager glass. Had a glass designed just for that brew.

Fourth, Its seen the light. So you know how you may buy a beer that's in green bottles and its skunky? Over exposure to sunlight caused that. So keep your brew in a very dark place. Think of it as a red headed step child of sorts..

Thrillist has a much more in depth look at these points and many more. Drink on!!
