Ice Skating At Empire State Plaza In Albany NY

I experienced ice skating at the Empire State Plaza for the first time and I felt like I was in a real life Richard Curtis film.

The idea that there is a ice rink for public use for free is pretty sweet. I’m not positive what forced me to lace up the skates and go on a terrible romantic comedy date but I went. As I pretended I was Ryan Gosling skating around the plaza I wondered to myself do I miss the NHL this much or have I become less of a man. I was wearing hockey skates and I was with a girl so those have got to count for man points somewhere right?  Either way if you can bottle up your tough man stuff for a moment and want to guarantee some hard core “note book” smashing faces together make out action, than skating at the empire state plaza in down town Albany is the thing. Free to skate and like $3 to rent. Waz up!
