Just how big is U2? The band is scheduled to tour in 2011, they will play in Miami at the same time as a Florida Marlins game. So who moves?
There is an upcoming three game series between the Florida Marlins and the Seattle Mariners which has been relocated to Seattle due to a conflict with a U2 concert.
U2 is scheduled to play Miami’s Sun Life Stadium on June 29th and while the last game of the series is set June 26th the bands massive stage structure known as ‘The Claw’ requires a few days to set up. The best solution was to play the games in Seattle. Probably because more people will attend the U2 concert than the Florida Marlins!!
