If you suffer from allergies then you are probably well aware that peanut allergies are no joke and can often times have some serious symptoms that can include every thing from

hives, flushed skin or rash, tingling or itchy sensation in the mouth, face, tongue, or lip swelling, vomiting and/or diarrhea, abdominal cramps, coughing or wheezing, dizziness and/or lightheadedness, swelling of the throat and vocal cords, difficulty breathing, to loss of consciousness

Which is why hostess has recalled somewhere around 70,000 cases of snack cakes because

they may contain peanut residue not on the ingredient list

Apparently it has something to do with a flour they were using that has since been recalled.

If you don't suffer from a peanut allergy you should be fine but if you or someone in your home does and you have a box of Ding Dongs, Zingers, or Chocodiles in your pantry you might want to throw those out or you can return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
